I'm an illustrator and 2D & 3D animator based in NYC.
Though I've always loved drawing ever since I was young, I knew I wanted to become an animator when I first watched Spirited Away at 17. With just a free drawing program and Windows Movie Maker as my tools, I made an animated short on my own that same year, and fortunately it won at Tribeca Film Institute’s Our City, My Story Film Festival in 2018. From there, I decided to pursue animation as a career.
I studied Film & TV at New York University, and my animated short films won at Our City, My Story Film Festival in 2020 and FOCUS Film Festival in 2021.
For the past 5 years, I have worked for various educational programs and organizations, such as SuperDville, Reading Allowed, Dyslexia Alliance for Black Children, and Boon Philanthropy. This work ranges from illustration for social-emotional learning workbooks, editing social media video content, designing infographics, and animating for a web series.
Lately, I have been branching out into 3D character animation at Animation Mentor under the guidance from industry professionals at Dreamworks and Sony Animation. I am also currently illustrating for a children's book geared towards children 4-9 with neurodivergence.
In my free time, I love to take long walks, play nonograms, learn new languages, and gush over cute bunnies.
With a strong passion for children's media, I love using my creativity to spread positivity and bring fun ideas to life. If there is a project you believe I would be a good fit for, I'd love to get in touch!
